The Moose team in Melbourne, Australia, conceived and produced the Shopkins collectable line of figurines. These figures are based on The Trash Pack figures and are sold as collectibles.

Shopkins toys are small figures based on retail shop goods. The goal of giving each Shopkins figure a name, a pastime, a hang out, and a BFF is to establish an emotional connection between the collector and the character.

Every new Shopkins series includes around 140 characters, each of which may be used with a variety of different playsets and accessories. As of the month of December in 2015, there are a total of 420 unique characters.

After their first launch in June 2014, more than 115 million Shopkins have been purchased all around the globe as of December 2015.
