An American comic book superhero team known as the Avengers first appeared in the pages of American publisher Marvel Comics in the 1960s. The Avengers made their début in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's The Avengers #1 (cover dated September 1963), which was written and edited by Lee and illustrated by Kirby. "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" was the name given to the Avengers, which included Iron Man, Ant-Man, Hulk, Thor, and the Wasp. In issue #4, the Avengers rescued Captain America, who had been frozen in place.

The Avengers are a group of superheroes from the Marvel Comics universe who have teamed together to form an all-star team. Dietically, these superheroes are normally on their own, but they sometimes form a team to take on particularly dangerous foes. Other superhero teams, such as the X-Men, include individuals who were explicitly designed to be a member of the group, making the group an essential element of the group's identity. The Avengers were conceived as a means of introducing a new line of Marvel Comics publications and promoting existing titles in new ways. There's a chance that Iron Man fans may pick up an Avengers book because of the presence of Iron Man's ally and comrade Thor, who features in the same book. Some well-known characters, like Iron Man or Captain America, are prominent in the cast while lesser-known ones, like Quicksilver, gain from the spotlight.

In addition to comic books, the Avengers have featured in several animated television programmes and direct-to-video films. A series of Marvel Studios films, dubbed the "Marvel Cinematic Universe," began production in 2008 and culminated in 2012 with the release of The Avengers. The team has since made many additional film appearances.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
