While we are providing a great service, and work with suppliers with integrity, we are also a caring company, and make decisions based on the best possible outcome, not just for our profits, but also for our community.
During the run up to Christmas 2017, we supported the Rochdale Connections Trust, who support vulnerable women and children who are affected by violence and abuse in the family home. In this campaign of support, we donated age-appropriate toys for over 200 children, and we have continued to support RCT with donations for birthday presents for the children through the year.
In addition to this, where we have toys that have a small defect but can still provide hours of fun, we donate these to RCT for children to enjoy, which enables children to enjoy them. Other companies would simply scrap these items.
In addition to working with local charities, we have also partnered with Salford University to offer work experience to students. We have worked with the university’s MSc Digital Marketing programme to offer placements. We benefit from the most current knowledge and postgraduates who are keen to learn, while they benefit from gaining experience in our workplace and a glowing reference to add to their CV.
