'Ben 10' is an American media franchise created by Man of Action Studios and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. It debuted on the airwaves in 1996. This science fiction television series is about a little kid called Ben Tennyson who discovers the Omnitrix, an extraterrestrial device that looks like a wristwatch and stores DNA from several alien races. Ben has the ability to turn into strong aliens with a variety of skills when he uses the Omnitrix. The Omnitrix originally includes 10 aliens, but Ben is able to acquire additional species by incorporating their DNA into the machine.

A total of three Emmy Awards have been awarded to the Ben 10 franchise, which has gained considerable critical praise. Between August 2007 and March 2012, it was shown on five television series and four films, the last of which aired between August 2007 and March 2012. It is the longest-running franchise on Cartoon Network, having lasted for 15 years as of this writing. Additionally, a Ben 10 toy line was produced by Bandai for the first four episodes of the show, and by Playmates Toys for the reboot episode. Over the course of its history, the franchise has generated more than $6 billion in retail sales.

Announcing three 44-minute specials based on the series, titled Ben 10,010, Ben Gen 10 and Alien X-Tinction, which would premiere in April 2021, it was announced on February 17, 2021 that they would serve as both the series finale to the reboot and a crossover between the first five television series in the franchise. There are plans for a live-action streaming relaunch of the series, as well as an anime spin-off series focused only on Ben's cousin Gwen, both of which will premiere in 2019.
