MGA Entertainment's unboxing toy line, L.O.L. Surprise! ("Lil Outrageous Littles"), was introduced on July 7, 2016, and is based on the character L.O.L. The brand became a big success, and the doll collection was the most popular toy in the United States from January through November of 2017.

The Mystery Capsules dolls are the most popular of the L.O.L. Surprise! dolls' collectible line. Generally speaking, each ball costs $10.00 and has many levels of surprises based on a single doll. Each doll is associated with a certain topic or "club," and each doll also has one or two water-based characteristics.

The O.M.G. fashion dolls were added to the L.O.L. Surprise brand in 2019, bringing the total number of L.O.L. Surprise products to nine. Another spin-off line, the J.K., little fashion dolls, was launched in 2020 to complement the original. After that, J.K. was formally retired in 2021, and the second wave was scrapped in order to create place for the Tweens collection.
