Playmobil's little worlds inspire youngsters to dream, innovate, and create in a safe environment. Playmobil buddies inspire children to create worlds around them, constructing people and scenarios, and thinking how they will interact and what will happen next. Playmobil is a fantastic toy for solitary play as well as for youngsters to play together while learning to cooperate and share with others.

Maqio Toys has an extensive range of Playmobil toys available for purchase.

Inventor Hans Beck (1929–2009), known as the "Father of Playmobil," is credited with the creation of the toy in the 1930s. Beck studied cabinetmaking and was also an ardent model aircraft enthusiast, which he used to sell his product, the Geobra Brandstätter, to the corporation. Owner Horst Brandstätter requested that Beck make toy figurines for children rather than the original plan for the business. It was initially established as a manufacturer of casket embellishments and handles.

In the years 1971 to 1974, Beck worked on what would become Playmobil for three years straight. Beck did research that enabled him to build a toy that was not too complicated while also being adaptable to many situations. The author believed that an excessive amount of flexibility would interfere with the creativity of youngsters, while an excessive amount of rigour may bring them disappointment. Designed to fit comfortably in the palm of a child's hand, the toy has a broad head, wide grin, and no nose, all of which were inspired by children's drawings. The small figurines would be placed in their hands without saying anything about what they were, according to Beck. Their acceptance was instantaneous... They came up with their own little situations. Playing with them was something they never got tired of doing
