What Will Shazam! Fury Of The Gods Be About?
The long-awaited sequel to DC’s first Shazam! is being released this year, and after lots of delays, it will finally be released on the 17th of March. After the success of the first film, with its blend of action and comedy, the sequel is guaranteed to be a fun ride and the returning cast will definitely keep the charm in this exciting follow-up. The original film follows the story of Billy Batson, a teenage boy who gains the ability to transform into a superhero named Shazam. The movie will yet again star Zachary Levi as Shazam and Asher Angel as Billy, alongside Jack Dylan Grazer as his best friend, Freddy Freeman.
So what will the sequel be about? Shazam! Fury of the Gods will continue the story of Billy and his alter ego, Shazam, but this time explore the mythological roots of the Shazam character. There's also a new villain being introduced, Hespera, who is a powerful and god-like character with the ability to control magic. Her arrival on Earth sets off a chain of events that puts the entire world in danger, and it's up to Shazam and his foster family to save the day. In order to defeat Hespera, Shazam and his foster siblings will need to work together to unlock new powers and abilities, including those that are based on ancient mythology.
